In the railway industry Trelleborg Industrial AVS is a genuine heavyweight, best known as a supplier of primary and secondary suspension systems, centre control mountings, centre pivot bearings, control links and drive couplings for every type of application from trams and light rail to heavy freight locomotives.

Many of Trelleborg's applications require a custom-designed solution and one of the business' major strengths is its experience in analysing and modelling suspension system characteristics to achieve optimum performance.

 

Specifically developed for other types of specialist vehicles, Trelleborg's new range of TrellExtreme® isolators offers vibration and shock solutions in applications such as agriculture, construction equipment and material handling.

 

Qualitrain has been delighted to work in partnership with this well-organised and highly target-driven business. Following initial discussion and business analysis, our experts set up a series of bespoke Business Improvement training packages, covering all aspects of their manufacturing, which Qualitrain then rolled out within the company. Over 100 Trelleborg employees have now successfully completed NVQ Level 2 in Buisness Improvement Training.
