The Course:
This qualification equips apprentices with essential project management skills to effectively lead and deliver projects across diverse industry sectors. The programme develops capabilities to manage resources, stakeholders, risks, and project lifecycles from initiation to completion.
Who Is It For?
This apprenticeship is designed for those working in or aspiring to project management roles who want to develop core project leadership, planning, and delivery skills.
Typically, this apprenticeship will take 18 months of learning with an additional 5 month End Point Assessment window.
On completion, apprentices can apply for professional body recognition as an associate member of the Association for Project Management (APM).

Qualification:
Either before or during the apprenticeship, apprentices will be required to achieve level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics prior to taking end point assessment (EPA). Apprentices are required to achieve a suitable level of knowledge as part of their development such that they achieve an IPMA Level D qualification or APM Project Management Qualification, prior to their EPA.

What Skills And Knowledge Will Be Achieved?
The apprentice to become dependent upon the size of the organisations and the complexity of projects, associate project managers, job titles will vary, but typically they can include: assistant project manager, junior project manager, project team leader. Some organisations use ‘project manager’ as a generic job title.
